Vote On Your Business Or Organization
As we, United States of America citizens are gearing up for the November 3, 2020 election, we are afforded the opportunity to not only pick our Presidential/Vice Presidential candidates, but also other significant offices. By participating in the selection of new leadership for the United States, we partly decide on the direction of our country and how it moves forward over the next four to eight years. Although many Americans cannot discuss politics without it resulting in an intense debate, most of us agree that we should cast our votes via an absentee ballot or in-person at a designated polling location within our districts in order to impart our voice and be an active participant in the election process.
Similar to voting and electing new leadership for the United States, imagine that there is an upcoming election featuring businesses and organizations within your city and your business is included on the ballot. This ballot is comprised of the following offices and business qualifications.
• Best Branding of the Year
• Business Influencer of the Year
• Business Innovator of the Year
• Business Trendsetter
• CEO of the Year
• Corporate Social Responsibility & Transforming Communities
• Leader in Customer Service
• Leader in Total Quality Management
• Marketing Efforts of the Year
• Non-Profit/For-Profit of the Year
• Small Business of the Year
Before the final ballots are cast and the election proceeds, if your business or organization was evaluated today, what would your findings reveal? Is your business or organization doing well enough to be a contender in the 2020 Business Catalysts for Excellence Election? Would you win the debate among your competitors? If you could determine the criteria for each of the above offices, what are the attributes that are most important for your business and industry? Of those business attributes, how many does your business currently possess? Would you be a formidable contender and leader in your field?
Maintaining a successful business is much like running a successful election. It requires constant analysis, studying business trends, managing budgets and expenses, delivering on promises to your customers and key stakeholders, and pivoting when necessary.
