Participants will be provided an overview of the 7 P’s & 7 C’s of marketing and how to use these tools to execute a strategic plan and marketing strategy. 

Effective Communication Strategies to Enhance Your Teams Performance - Which Communication Style Are You:

Participants will learn different communication styles, individual preferred communication styles, and which methods should be used when communicating with internal and external stakeholders. 

Corporate and Marketing Communication: 

Participants will learn which stakeholders should be targeted for both corporate and marketing communication. Also, participants will receive business templates to start using once the course has ended. 

Leadership & Management Development:

Leadership is neither about having a specific title in an organization, nor directly managing staff. It is about being astute enough to know when to employ different managerial styles and techniques to galvanize teams in order to become high performing and results driven.

Emotional Intelligence (EQ): What It is and Why It’s Important in the Workplace:

Emotional intelligence impacts not only many aspects of our personal life, but it also impacts many areas of our work life. How we behave, react, and interact with others has a direct impact on the success of our businesses. This training will assist in developing participants’ emotional intelligence (EQ), so that they are better equipped to identify, understand, and manage their emotions in positive ways in order to communicate effectively, empathize with others, overcome challenges, and defuse/minimize conflict.

Persuasive Leadership:

Participants will discover how effective leadership requires persuasiveness and determination. Case studies will be reviewed of persuasive leaders in organizations throughout the United States and in politics.

Managing Employees Through Difficult Times:

Participants will learn how to effectively manage employees during restructuring, unforeseen environmental threats, and financial strife.

Supervision 101: 

Participants will learn the fundamentals of supervision, including but not limited to performance review, coaching, counseling, and goal setting. 

Supervision 201:

Participants will expand on the concepts learned in Supervision 101 and focus on the human relations aspects of supervision, such as delegation, 360 degree coaching, and how to maximize productivity of employees.

Leadership Styles and Practices - Developing the Leader Within

Being a strong, charismatic, empathetic yet result-driven leader is quite a balancing act, but one that is imperative. There are various leadership styles from authoritative to inspirational. Participants will learn an array of styles, which learning styles yield the most success, and the steps to develop their leadership skills to tap into the leader within. 

Tapping the Leader Within – Strategies to Enhance Your Skills

Now that you know your leadership style and have begun to merge your experience and skills to become a better leader and manager for yourself, your employees and your organization, now it’s time to build upon this knowledge by learning how to operate more strategically and set cascading goals for you and your team.

Coaching for Managers & Supervisors - Training Managers to be Effective Coaches:

Hive Connex believes that all leaders and managers should invest in coaching opportunities to learn more about how one’s self-deception can subconsciously negatively influence critical thinking skills and team performance. As leaders and managers, employees must be coached and counseled and know the difference between each.

Cultural Sensitivity - Recruiting and Managing a Diverse Workforce:

Diversity and inclusion must be considered when building any size team. Managers and leaders will gain an understanding as to how to be cognizant of the different cultures of their employees and what operating ethically and professionally without bias and prejudice looks like.

Action planning and time management go hand and hand. Participants will learn how to create achievable action plans based on their current job duties and responsibilities.

Participants will engage in a SWOT analysis of themselves and/or the organization they are employed by.  After conducting the SWOT analysis, participants will create a vision board that supports their existing profession or a new career opportunity.

If many organization leaders are honest, it wasn’t until the emergence of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak that forced executive leadership to thoroughly examine its business operations. Participants will be provided with tools and resources to evaluate their organizations.
